Hey everyone! StoryPad 2.31.0 is now live.
After the big Map Journal update, this release focuses on the “engine” to keep your journal fast and efficient. Here is what’s new:
- 🏗️ Storage Management & Google Drive Optimization:
- See exactly how much space your journal takes on your device and Google Drive.
- Use the new “Optimize” button to clean up duplicates or unused files and save space on your Google Drive.
- 🖼️ Smart Image Compression:
- Images are now compressed by default to save about 50% of space while keeping your photos looking great.
- If you prefer original files, you can easily turn this off in Settings.
- 📥 Media Import:
- You can now import your exported media archives directly back into StoryPad.
- Going Free:
- Voice Journaling, Image Albums, Pinned Notes, and Writing Stats are now available to all users! 💝
- StoryPad Pro Plan Update: To keep the core journaling tools free, we’ve moved advanced Customization Features to the Pro plan. If you love tailoring every detail of your workspace, StoryPad Pro is the way to go. We hope this feels like a fair trade for the community!
- 🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Resolved the image compression issues that were affecting app stability
- General performance improvements and minor bug fixes.
- Fixed tag reordering issues.
- Fixed settings do not apply in real-time without needing a restart.
- Improved performance for the Map Journal.
